Zorblitz info & guides

Zorblitz is a gamemode that released on September 17th, 2025, the day after Busy Bees was released, and the day before Mini Mine was released. The gamemode is likely based off Breakout, a game made by Atari, Inc., and it mainly focuses on using a paddle to hit a falling ball. The ball will then bounce off the paddle and could hit bricks that aliens might be standing on, which are throwing orbs at you to deduct points from you. Eliminating all the bricks or freeing the prisoners will let you unlock the next level. Additionally, the gamemode released in Beta until 1 October.

Gameplay[]

Gameplay

Gameplay

When the game starts, you are presented with a menu, with level 1 on it, and a bunch of locked levels. In the game, you are supposed to hit the ball with a paddle and avoid the ball falling. If the ball falls, you lose a heart. You have 2 hearts in the beginning of the game, and then a third chance when they run out. If those chances are wasted, you lose, and you have to restart the level. There are 48 levels however currently you can only play up to level 24, after beating level 24, Level 25 does not open and just says, “Unlocking Soon…”

Aliens are the antagonists in this gamemode. They will stand on blocks and throw random garbage which includes a toxic waste barrel, a tire, etc. If the trash hits your paddle, you lose 250 points. If you lose all points, you lose. If the blocks they are standing on break because the ball hit them, then the alien on it will fall, while they are falling, you can hit them with your paddle, every hit gives more points than the last, but there is a limit. There are 3 types of aliens: a purple one, an orange one, and a saucer one called Grump. If a Grump touches your paddle, you lose a life. If your ball hits the Grump, they will get eliminated and you will gain 1000 points.

Level 24 has the first boss fight. It’s special because there are no regular aliens throwing alien trash at you, and instead there is a big orange alien that tries to get the ball when you bounce it to stop you from hitting bricks and therefore winning. Its button on the main menu is also unique from the others because the alien boss is peeking in the corner of the Level 24. button.

Trivia[]

  • Zorblitz is the second gamemode to have no tutorial, the first being Busy Bees.
  • Heart and Gem power up are the only power ups that never last few seconds.
  • Most of the aliens in Zorblitz are first seen on Laser Tag.
  • For some reason, when you get 2 Heart Power Ups, there becomes an error as only the first and third heart is shown, and the second is not revealed in the middle.
  • The purple alien has been featured in the 2023 Spooktober Shop
  • This mode was in beta until the 2025 Spooktober update. While in beta, aliens threw the same clump of trash instead of an assortment of different types.
  • This is the last Solo Gamemodes with Beta until removed.
  • In Early October, Zorblitz is suddenly removed from Homework mode. Before this they used to have Homework. In 20th October it returned as Homework again.
  • There's a glitch where a purple or orange alien is not standing on any brick in general and just float. Normally they will fall but they didn't. To get rid of it you just simply hit other visible bricks next too the aliens that are glitched and floating.
