When you try to place a tower on a taken spot.

Part of: Tower Defense 1/2

Towers are Blooks that can be bought via upgrade tokens and placed on the Tower Defense and Tower Defense 2 maps. Every Tower has 3 Tiers of Upgrades. The first 2 Upgrades do not alter the look of the tower in anyway, only adding a bronze/base and a buff (Ex. range, damage, fire rate). The last tier upgrade gives the tower a golden base, and changes the look of the tower, along with a special ability. Towers must be placed on open tiles. Taken tiles (Not open tiles) can be a piece of track, another unit, or an object. You can know if a tile is taken because when trying to place a tower on that spot, there will be a red ❌ on the unit showing that it cannot be placed there. The current towers are the Laser Chick, Owl Sniper, Nutty Squirrel, Splashy Goldfish, Pig Bomber, Archer Elf, Flame Dragon, Spark Wizard, Rocket Unicorn, Freeze Penguin, The King, and Helpful Jester.

Tower Statistics[]

Sell Price[]

All sell prices of all towers are 80% of the cost (including upgrades). After the 80% has been applied, the sell cost will be rounded to the nearest positive integer. For example, the Laser Chick tower cost to place is 2 upgrade tokens, and sells for 1.6 tokens. Since it has to sell for a positive integer, the number is rounded to 2, therefore, you get 2 upgrade tokens.

Percentile Damage[]

Percentile damage is damage that harms the enemy based on said enemy's health. For example, the White Slime Boss has 5,000 health. If you were to use an agent owl without a percentile damage cap, then it would kill the White Slime Boss in only four shots. You wouldn't want to put a hard boss in the game, just to have something small like that a tower be able to kill it fast, hence the percentile cap. The cap on the Crazy Unicorn is 50 due to the splash damage, and the cap on the Agent Owl is 150 due to its laser. If you wanted to kill the White Slime Boss using only Crazy Unicorns or Agent Owls, it will take 100 Unicorn hits or 34 Agent Owl hits (5,000 divided by 50 = 100, 5,000 divided by 150 = ~33.33, which is rounded up to 34).

Trivia[]

  • Arguably, the Flame Dragon, Rocket Unicorn, (specifically, the Crazy Unicorn upgrade), the Helpful Jester, the Pig Bomber (Specifically, the Party Pig upgrade) and the Owl Sniper (Specifically, the Agent Owl upgrade) are the best towers to have.
  • Towers can also be placed on Tower Defense 2.
