an example of a formation in tower defence

an example of a boss level
Not to be confused with: Tower Defense 2, which has its own unique gameplay mechanics and rules.
Tower Defense is a gamemode in Blooket released on February 9th for Plus users and then on February 23rd it became free for everyone during Season 2. In this mode you answer questions, build towers, and design your defense to protect yourself from waves of evil blooks. It gets more difficult as you clear more rounds by adding more and stronger enemies. Tower Defense can be played on different maps. There are currently three maps released, there are pictures of them below. Tower Defense 2 is the sequel to this game.
There are different tiers of evil blooks (see below) and upgrade tokens that can be obtained by answering questions. These 3 questions appear after a round is completed and need to be answered. The player gets extra tokens if they get all of their questions correct. It does not matter how fast you answer it.

Towers
Towers are blooks that can be bought and placed in spaces with no track or object already occupying that space. Each tower has a price and 3 upgrades (each upgrade having 2 choices) The first two upgrades do not alter the units look in any way and just gives them a bronze/silver base and a buff (eg. range, damage, firing speed). The first tier of upgrades gives the tower a bronze base representing the second lowest place on a leaderboard, 3rd. The next tier of upgrades gives the tower a silver base representing second place on a leaderboard. The third and final tier of upgrades gives the tower a golden base and changes the look of a tower and also gives it a special ability. Arguably, the Unicorn (specifically the Crazy Unicorn) and the Dragons are the best Towers to have.
Sell Prices:
All sell prices are 80% of the cost (including upgrades). After the 80% has been applied, the sell cost will be rounded to the nearest positive integer. e.g. The Chick tower. It is purchased with 2 tokens and sells for 1.6, since it has to sell for a positive integer, it is rounded to 2 tokens.
There are 3 stats that all units have.
Damage: The amount of damage a unit does to a enemy in its range (towers have damage caps)
Firing Rate: The cooldown of the attack (or in the jester's case, buffing)
Range: The area in which the tower is capable of attacking (or in the jester's case, buffing)
Some have debuffs;

All basic tower upgrade paths (You don't have to unlock)

strat
(Max. 150/50): The damage cap for percentile damage. Percentile damage is damage that harms BASED ON THE ENEMY'S CURRENT HEALTH. For example, the white slime has 5,000 health If you were to use the Agent Owl without a cap, it would 4 shot it. Think about it, you wouldn't want to put a super hard boss in the game and have something small like that be able to kill it fast, hence the cap. The cap on the Crazy Unicorn is 50 because of splash damage, and the cap on the Agent Owl is 150 due to its one laser. If you wanted to kill the white slime with only Crazy Unicorns or only Agent Owls, it would take 100 unicorn hits or 34 owl shots. 5000/50 = 100, 5000/150 = ~33.33, which is rounded up to 34.

High-Level Strategies

Places where you can place an Owl and it will cover the entire track

Example of a formation of Towers
One strategy is the Perma Stun, which is the use of Wind Dragons and Mini Jesters in the game mode Tower Defense. It involves speed buffing Wind Dragons with Mini Jesters, to effectively hold the evil Blooks completely in place while other Towers, usually Unicorns or Owls, fire at them while they are stuck.
When starting, the only enemies are blue blooks; this means that no matter the damage, these blooks are defeated in one hit. Start with low costing towers, then use your saved tokens to buy better ones once the cheaper ones cannot keep up with higher level enemies.
Follow upgrade paths on stage 3;
Pig - Blast Radius > Range > Party Pig
Dragon - Attack Speed > Attack Speed > Wind Dragon
Jester - Firing Rate > Range > Mini-Jester OR - Range > Range > Mini-Jester
Unicorn - Attack Speed > Blast Radius > Crazy Unicorn
Owl - Speed > Speed > Agent Owl
Other strategy:
Elf -> speed -> speed-> Master elf
get three master elves, save your money, wait until wave 15, and get kings.
King -> top path -> top path -> bottom path
Jester for kings:
Jester -> top -> top -> bottom
owls:
Owl -> speed -> speed -> agent owl
jester for owls:
jester -> top -> bottom -> bottom
Penguin -> damage -> damage -> emperor penguin

Wind dragon
Trivia
- When clicking on the tower, the picture of it will show up. The only tower that this does not do this to is Arctic Buddies, which shows a picture of the Baby Penguin. But the tower itself doesn't have it. Instead it is Polar Bear, Arctic Fox, Arctic Hare and Seal.
- The Sniper Owl has the longest range out of all Towers.
- This inspired or reference how the owl have very sharp sense of sight in real life and have quick reaction too.
- This game mode is based of Bloons Tower Defense.
- According to Ben, this game mode took over a year to make.
- Among all the enemies, Orange is the fastest enemy with a speed of 2.25 km/h while the Slowest is the Black and Light Slime Monster.
- This is the first game mode to have a sequel game mode which is Tower Defense 2.
- God of Lighting one of the Wizard’s final upgrade is reference to Thor from the Marvel series where both uses lightning power and a God of lighting

- Black Blook is the smallest enemy Blook among the rest of the enemies, yet it is also the fastest enemy.
- Tower Defense is one of the 6 game modes that have at least 1 Mystical Blook which was Phantom King were Fishing Frenzy, Santa's Workshop, Cafe, Crypto Hack and Halloween version Monster Brawl.
- King is the most expensive Tower you can buy, while Chick is the cheapest tower you can buy.
