Spooktober[]

Spooktober is the time where Blooket makes their website Halloween themed. It usually contains a pack and a game mode. It only appears in mid or early October to early November.

Season 1[]

Season 1 Spooktober had a Spooky Pack, Candy Quest (temporarily replacing Gold Quest), and Contest of Candy 2019 for the first time on Blooket.

Season 2[]

Season 2 Spooktober had a Spooky Pack, Candy Quest, and Contest Of Candy 2020. The Contest of Candy of that year gave out prizes such as Spooky Ghost, Spooky Pumpkin, Spooky Mummy and many more which the other Contest of Candies other than the 2023 edition followed. This season's Spooky Pack introduced the first limited time Chroma in the Pack, the Haunted Pumpkin.

Season 3[]

Season 3 Spooktober had a Spooky Pack, Candy Quest, and Contest Of Candy 2021. It has no changes and therefore remains the same from Season 2.

Season 4[]

Season 4 Spooktober had a Spooky Pack, Candy Quest, Monster Brawl: Halloween Map (temporary replacing Snowy Plains), Spooky Shop, and the Contest of Candy 2022. This contest gave the 3 prizes stated above in Season 2 and many more lower tier prizes. This Spooky Pack discontinued the Haunted Pumpkin and introduced Pumpkin Cookie and Ghost Cookie. It also added Caramel Apple in the Spooky Pack.

Season 5[]

Season 5 Spooktober had a Spooky Pack, Candy Quest, and Monster Brawl: Halloween Map, and the Spooky Shop. From now onwards, Spooktober will not have a Contest of Candy as it was postponed to December (Blooket Holidays) to have a holiday theme. The Spooky Pack discontinued the Pumpkin Cookie and Ghost Cookie and introduced the Red Gummy Bear, Green Gummy Bear, and Blue Gummy Bear. It also added the Candy Corn in the Spooky Pack.

Season 6[]

Season 6 Spooktober had a Spooky Pack, Candy Quest, and Monster Brawl: Halloween Map, the Spooky Shop, and Tag Or Treat. This Spooky Pack still continued Red Gummy Bear, Green Gummy Bear, and Blue Gummy Bear. It also added the Crow in the Spooky Pack making more Rares than Uncommons. Tag Or Treat is the new Plus-only gamemode released for Spooktober. It was Plus-only as it was in Beta. Tag Or Treat was immediately removed after Ben Stewart hosted it to check for bugs and hacks.

The gamemode Tag Or Treat was in Beta and is only coming out in Season 7 Spooktober

The name Spooktober is a combination/portmanteau of the words “Spook” and “October”.
Season 3 is the only season without changes on Blooket Spooktober.
Contest of Candy 2019 is the only contest without prizes, meaning no Chromas were awarded at the time, so Kyle2006, the winner, didn't get the Spooky Ghost.
Red Gummy Bear, Green Gummy Bear, Blue Gummy Bear, and Haunted Pumpkin are the only Spooky Pack Chromas to have been in the pack for two or more consecutive years.
Frankenstein banner matches its blook as well as the Mummy.
Monster Brawl Halloween version was only introduced in Season 4.
Season 6 is the only season where the poster doesn’t show the Alien costume outfit.
This is one of Blooket's biggest holiday updates along with Blooket Holidays, Valentine's Day Update, St Patrick's Day Event, April Fools Updates, Spring Event, Teacher Appreciation Week, and Autumn Update.
A new non-Chroma blook has been added to the Spooky Pack ever since Season 4 with the Caramel Apple, Candy Corn, and the Crow.
The Spooky Shop was introduced in Season 4 and is still practiced.
All blooks in Spooky Pack have the same exact stats as the blooks from the Ice Monster Pack in Monster Brawl including big bosses, due to fact that Halloween map replaces the Snowy Plains map.
In 2022, the Spooky Shop items had a black background, but in 2023 and 2024, the Spooky Shop items had the traditional blue background.
2024 and 2025 are the only years without Contest of Candy.
