Shamrock Quest is a gamemode that has been leaked during Season 3. And was released during Season 4 for a week during St Patrick's Day. It is also similar to Gold Quest/Candy Quest, Crypto Hack, Deceptive Dinos and Santa’s Workshop. It was released again during Season 5's St Patrick's Day Event. The gamemode replaces the gold chests in Gold Quest with Pots Of Gold. The gamemode is officially called Gold Quest but we use Shamrock Quest to differentiate between the two Game Modes.

Gameplay

All players start with 0 gold and try to work their way up the leaderboard by getting correct answers. Questions are set on a loop and the order is randomized. Not everyone gets the same question at the same time.

Similar to Gold Quest, If someone gets an answer incorrect, they will be forced to wait 3 seconds to continue while all other players continue answering questions unless they also get it incorrect, they will also need to wait 3 seconds, although it will never be from the same timer. If they answer correctly however, they are required to pick from one of three pots of gold. They could be:

+x Gives the contestant x gold

  • Lose x% subtracts x% amount of gold from the player's total gold. This is represented by the Slime Monster and Dragon.
  • Double Gold doubles the player's total Gold. This is represented by the Jester.
  • Triple Gold triples the player's gold total. This is represented by the Unicorn.
  • Triple Gold triples the player's gold total. This is represented by the Unicorn Blook.
  • Swap allows the player to swap their gold total with another player. This can be either good if the player is near the bottom or bad if they're near or at the top. This is represented by the King.
  • Steal x% allows the player to steal x% of another player's total? This is either 10% or 25%. This is represented by the Elf and Wizard.
  • Nothing does absolutely nothing. This is represented by the Fairy.

The host can set the game to play for a custom amount of time, and players continue adding, losing, multiplying, swapping and stealing their way to the top.

Many games can end with players having trillions to even quadrillions of gold. Infinite wonders, endless possibilities.
