Not to be confused with Pirate Pool.

Pirate's Voyage was a gamemode that released on September 26, 2023, during Season 5. At the time, it was exclusive to Plus users, making it a Plus-Only Gamemode. The gamemode officially retired on September 26 2025, after a 2 year run.

Retirement[]

Farewell, Pirate's Voyage!

Pirate's Voyage retired on Friday, September 26, 2025, after a two-year run. The decision was made to make room for “even bigger adventures ahead,” with Blooket explaining that retiring the gamemode would allow them to better support and create new Gamemodes, as well as potentially bringing future pirate-themed experiences, such as Pirate Pool. Despite these developments, the announcement has drawn criticism from the community, who expressed disappointment over the closure of this mode. Some community members noted that the retirement was influenced by the fact that Plus subscribers were gravitating toward other newer Plus Gamemodes like Laser Tag, Cocoa Cottage, and Coco Cabana, and leaving out Pirate’s Voyage. This also continued when Mini Mine, Star Grazer and Busy Bees came out.

Gameplay[]

The dice.

The dice.

After answering a question, two dice appear on your screen. When you roll the dice, it can give you a number from 2-12. Whatever the number lands on is how many times you need to move your ship to islands. For example, if you roll a 3, you pass by 3 islands until you arrive to your destination. There are 22 islands, including Treasure Island, Outpost Island, Jail Island, Skull Island, Wreckage, and 15 normal islands that upgrade 1 level each time you visit them, with 5 being the maximum level. The higher the level, the more doubloons it gives you every time you visit them.

Islands[]

  • Treasure Island: Doubles your doubloon count.
  • Outpost Island - Automatically upgrades 3 random islands.
  • Jail Island - No effect at all, you just wave to the people there and then move on.
  • Skull Island - Your sentenced to jail and then sent to Jail Island where you must answer 3 questions to move on.
  • Wreckage - Triggers the Pirate Heist.
  • Regular Islands: Gives doubloons and are upgraded with each visit.
    • 1st visit - 100-500 doubloons.
    • 2nd visit - 1,000-5,000 doubloons.
    • 3rd visit - 10,000-50,000 doubloons.
    • 4th visit - 100,000-500,000 doubloons
    • 5th visit - 1,000,000-,000,000 doubloons
    • 6th visit - 10,000,000-50,000,000 doubloons

The Pirate Heist feature.

The Pirate Heist feature.

When you land on a wreckage, the Pirate Heist triggers, where there are 9 treasure chests on a 3x3 grid. There are 3 coin sets, a stack of gold, gold bars, and a mountain of gold, all ordered in their lowest to highest value, which can differ depending on how many doubloons you have. If you get 3 coins from 1 coin set, you steal that amount of the player’s doubloons that you are stealing.
