Monster Brawl is a gamemode that was released on September 13th, 2022, during Season 4. You can either play this game-mode in Solo, Homework, or by Hosting live. This game is similar to other survival games, where the main focus is not to die while being surrounded by many enemies. This is the first 2D game mode to be released in Blooket. When you reach Level 60, the last level of the game, it displays a "Victory" screen, ending the game. It takes 2,591 XP to reach Level 60.
At first it had a Homework mode, however it was removed, but then later added in August 2025 with a rework.
Monster Brawl info and guide how to play.
The gamemode currently has three different maps. They include Snowy Plains, Clocktower (added 1/26/2023) and a limited time map only during Spooktober called Spooky Plains.
When playing Solo, your Blook is your avatar based on your stats page. In hosting mode, your Blook is the one you selected. You start off as your character on the homepage (etc. right next to your name, the Blook you used the most is your character in game). Once started, the game asks you to choose a map (Snowy Plains, Clock Tower) and a mode (Normal, Challenge). During Spooktober, the Snow Plains map will be temporarily replaced by a Halloween theme map. Next, you need to answer 1 question in order to start playing, but at level 30 you must answer 2 correct questions before moving on. Then, you will get your first upgrade. As you progress, the monsters spawn more and become more dangerous with increased HP and more complicated bullet patterns. Leveling up is achieved by collecting enough XP, which is done by walking close enough to the crystals the enemies drop to collect them. At the bottom of the screen is a bar displaying how much XP you require before leveling up. Underneath your player, you will have a green health bar. If that drops to zero, you will be "Defeated". In solo mode, the game ends and in live mode you need to answer 3 questions correctly to respawn in the map. To the bottom left, you have your upgrades; to the bottom right, you have the level; and to the upper left, you have a pause game & end game (only in Solo).
Around level 45, the map starts to get really chaotic and sometimes causing a glitch where bullets and/or crystals from your Blook and the monsters not spawning properly or not spawning at all. When the game became free on September 29, 2022, the hosting feature in Blooket crashed. It was fixed eventually on October 1st.
The items that drop from enemies are magnets (sometimes), cheese (sometimes), and crystals (Blue crystals are the most common among low-level enemies, red for high level enemies or low-level bosses or purple from high level bosses). They updated it for Halloween for the 2022 Spooktober update on October 20, 2022. The name "Monster Brawl" was kept when they updated it, but the board and Blooks changed.
To reduce lag, try to defeat all of the enemies in that wave without collecting crystals. The enemies only appear after you answer a question. If you don't collect crystals, you won't answer questions, as you only answer questions when you level up. If you answer a question, defeat all of the enemies on the map, and answer another question, you will only be dealing with enemies in one round instead of the past ones as well, therefore reducing the lag in the game.
The first texture of a crystal, which you need to collect to win
The 2nd texture of crystal, dropped by mid-level enemies.
The final texture of crystal, dropped by bosses and high-level enemies.
On higher end devices, the attacks cause knock-back, making it easier to clear a path through enemies.

Trivia[]
The highest upgrade is level 11, which is rare but possible if the player has two weapon pairs that reached level 10
This used to be the only gamemode where we can select our Blook avatar in Solo.
There are some weapons references from the blooks like Peacock Feathers referring the Peacock blook, Slicing Cards reference from the Two of Spades blook, Buzzing Bees reference the Bee blook, and Boomerang Pizza reference the Pizza blook. It may have been a coincidence.
A new version of it released January 23rd, which added the Clock Tower map and Challenge mode.
If the crazy acorns had no spacing, you could theoretically push back the enemies indefinitely.
Sticky Syrup has a Canadian Leaf logo which reference the Maple Syrup and the fact it is originated in Canada.
Mystical blooks as your avatar are animated during this game, however the big boss, Spooky Ghost, isn't animated, likely because they're moving towards you.
When you run out of health in Monster Brawl, you can still respawn but only if you guess 3 correct answers in the quiz. This only happens when playing on Hosting mode, however in Solo it will automatically grant a game over.
If you get a question wrong while trying to respawn, it will still pop out another question so you'll still join despite having wrong answer from the quiz.
At the start of the game, the screen sometimes freezes. To resolve it, wait for an unresponsive error to show up and click "Wait".
From January 24th to 26th, 2023, there was a glitch known as the “green geometry map” glitch where on the Snowy Plains map the textures would not load, which was fixed on the 27th.
Spooky Pack and Ice Monster PackBlooks each have same exact stats to each other, because the Halloween map replace Snowy Plains but the stats remain the same.
Rebounding Shell is a reference of Koopa Troopa from Super Mario Series or reference of TMNT shell where it did bounce and critically hit enemies.
The Ice Elemental and Werewolf has 2 variants; one that shoots projectiles and one that doesn’t in each map mode. These 2, Clockwork Robot and Lightbulb Robot are the only enemies that shoot projectiles.
Monster Brawl is based off of the game Survivor.io. Almost all of the weapons can be directly compared to the ones in Survivor.io.
For example, Monster Brawl's Dark Energy and Survivor.io's Forcefield, Monster Brawl's Bouncy Slime and Survivor.io's Bouncy Soccer Ball, etc.
Custom Blooks can't be selected in Solo, however Hosting allows Custom Blooks as your avatar. If you use a custom blook, your game will not load and crash, you must use a blook that isn't custom to load the game.
Despite Ice Slime being the first enemy on Snowy Plains, it isn't however an Uncommon Blook.
None of Clock Tower's Blooks are obtainable, but maybe in the next season.
This game only ends if you reached level 60 which results in victory. Your final victory results are always 2591 XP (Round to 2600 XP) and not more than that.
There are 2 secret combo powers ups to get level 11 for example Rapid-fire Lasers + Slicing Cards, Blooming Bubbles + Dark Energy, etc. However, both powers must be upgraded to level 10.
Before rework, the maximum Tokens rewarded is 135 always. But after rework it increase and rewards us 176 Tokens instead.
After rework the death animation is slightly different where the monsters just suddenly become smaller.
Juggling Spheres does a maximum of 40 damage, making it the strongest weapon in terms of damage. Dark Energy is a close second, dealing 35 damage.
