Laser Tag is a gamemode released in Early 2025 with a Beta tag. It was only available to a few people until it became released to everyone, however this time it had a Plus tag. The game primarily focuses on shooting people with laser guns and collecting upgrades and power-ups. It has a halloween reskin, Tag Or Treat.

Gameplay

You are placed in a map, with arcade floor textures similar to a real Laser Tag. On mobile, you move with a joystick and move where you’re pointing your laser gun at. You also shoot down alien targets, or even shoot down people and get points, 10 for targets, and 100 for people. It also has an energy bar which runs out after about 20 seconds.

St Patrick's Day Event

Ever since Season 6's St Patrick's Day Event, Laser Tag added a new weapon (laser/upgrade) called Shamrock Bow which shoots shamrock projectiles that bounces on walls. The map's lighting is green in color. There are no other changes other than that.

Conversion To Plus

After a month of Laser Tag's official release, it became Plus-Only.

Many think they made it Plus-Only to cope with the high server costs, but it is currently unknown.

They might make it Free again after the high server costs issue is resolved, but right now, this is unknown.

Trivia

• The person who won the Laser Tag beta test got to choose what Chroma they could get for free.
  • They chose the Tropical Globe.
• Laser Tag has a seasonal reskin called Tag or Treat, however it was released after Tag or Treat.
• This is the second game mode with a special theme where it happened during Saint Patrick’s Day Event, the first being is Monster Brawl.
• Tag or Treat is the halloween reskin of Laser Tag.
• Like Pirates Voyage, even though it is close to Space Pack, these blooks aren't in this game mode. And although there’s aliens, they’re not exactly the Alien Blook.
• There was a glitch where you could see Laser Tag in the 'Select Live Game Mode' screen, but in reality, it wasn't released yet. It is however, likely this glitch happened to show a sneak peek before it releases, like an easter egg.
• This, along with Monster Brawl, Flappy Blook, Tag or Treat, Cocoa Cottage, and Egg Hunt are the only game modes where you can move or control your Blooks.
• It is actually possible to play this if you play it during beta testing. However since the game mode is still in beta, you might encounter rare bugs, lag or missing key features in Laser Tag.
• Some lasers shooting are reused from Tower Defense 2 and Monster Brawl.
