Blook Rush

Blook Rush is a Gamemode.
Players can play this gamemode to earn Tokens and XP, or just for fun.

Blook Rush is a Blooket gamemode released on January 20th, 2022 during Season 3 for Plus users, then it became free for all on February 3rd, 2022. It is similar to Battle Royale, where you try to obtain as much blooks as you can, while defending yourself from other players/teams and attacking them.

Most of these game mechanics were imported from a retired Blizzard Blast gamemode, Snowball Fight.

Basic Tutorial

When you answer a question right, you get to attack or defend. If you choose to attack, you get a page to choose which team or player to attack. If you have chosen your target and attack them, you take away a shield from them, which weakens their defense.

If you defend, you earn a shield for yourself or your team. You can have a maximum of 4 shields. If you attack a team without any shields, you get to steal a Blook from them. Sometimes, if you are lucky, you will get a free blook instead of the option attack or defend. The team with the most blooks at the end of the game wins. Blook Rush gives 0.25 tokens per question.  

Modes

There are two modes on Blook Rush, Solo and Team mode.

Solo

The solo mode of Blook Rush is where everyone competes for themselves. Because of this, solo mode may slightly be easier than Team mode.

Team Mode

The team mode of Blook Rush is where random teams compete with others. In fact, Blooket suggests team mode more than solo. It's recommended for your team to be split in half, meaning half of your team attacks the other teams, while the other half defends your team. Depending on which strategy you use, team mode may be easier or harder than solo, with good cooperation.

The Blook Rush picture is shown in the Blooket News, and on the Host page. The person who has made the image was using a White Rabbit. As you can see, Classy Classmates are white rabbits.

Trivia

• This is one of the only gamemodes where a team mode is available, the others being Battle Royale, Snowball Fight, Coco Cabana, Laser Tag, and Cocoa Cottage.
• This game's mechanics are imported from the limited time Blizzard Blast gamemode, Snowball Fight.
• Sandwich's team name was "Super Sandwiches" when it was unreleased, and would be seen if a hacker or Blooket Developer used it. However, when the Lunch Pack released, Sandwich was in the pack and no longer unobtainable. The team name was instead given to Half a Sandwich while Sandwich was then given the team name "The Sandwiches".
• If a player is using the unobtainable Light Blue blook, he/she will have the name "Blooket Buds", because the Blooket logo features light blue.
• Despite the fact that this game-mode features blooks, you will not get any blooks by playing this game-mode. This applies to any game-mode in Blooket.
• This mode is generally the least recognized mode in Blooket, which is because of how repetitive this mode is.
• Baby Shark's team name used to be "BABY SHARK…" but it was changed to "BABY SHARK". This also happened to the colored Astronaut's team name, Narwhal's team name, UFO's team name and King of Hearts's team name.
  • Each colored Astronaut team name used to be "[Color] kinda sus" but it was changed to "[Color] Crewmates".
  • Narwhal's team name was "NARWHAL NARWHAL" but it was changed to "NARWHALLLLL".
  • UFO's team name was "Umbrella Friend's Octopus" but it was changed to "Unidentified Students".
  • King of Hearts's team name was ";)" but it was changed to "The Royals".
• At one point shortly after Contest of Candy 2023, all of the newly released Chromas would not appear with a name and instead with " ".
• Unlike the other game modes, there is no official currency. Players collect multiple of the same Blook.
• Around October 1, 2025, the original team names have been replaced and are no longer determined by the respective Blook.
  • Some of the original team names however have been repurposed into the new ones.

Team Names

Blook Rush features team names. These team names are the same in Battle Royale. Formerly, each team was given a name by the blook that was selected, and it would show on the top of the screen. Currently, each team is given a name based on the icon of their team. There are currently 294 old Team Names known, and 4 unknown.
