Battle Royale

Battle Royale is similar to the gamemodes Classic, Racing, Laser Tag, and Blook Rush, but instead of going against everyone, you go against another player / team (If in team mode) at a time.

The goal is to answer questions correctly as fast as possible to beat the other player/team. All players/teams have 5 energy by default, although it can be changed from 1 to 10 depending on what the host changes it to. The time is counted by milliseconds to ensure that 1 player wins or loses, although there is still a chance to tie. If you have the fastest time, and answered correctly, you would win, causing the other enemy to lose one energy. If you lose all your energy, you'll be eliminated. However, you can still answer the questions. The player/team with the most energy remaining wins. Hence its name being "Battle Royale".

Battle Royale gives 1.5 token per question, the largest amount of any current Game-Mode. This is likely because it’s harder to spam play this gamemode.

In 2023, the gamemode became themed after comic strips. However, this isn’t considered a rework, as it was just a small background change and didn’t have the Temporarily Disabled tag, unlike Racing and Deceptive Dinos.

Battle Royale Redesign[]

Battle Royale received a redesign which made the game feel more like a comic strip.

This is the first redesign, the second being Factory.

Modes[]

There are two modes in the Battle Royale game, Solo Mode and Team Mode.

Solo Mode[]

A 1 v 1 Final Battle between a player who used the Megalodon Blook and another player using a Haunted Pumpkin Blook.

The Solo Mode is a game mode of Battle Royale that uses a 1 v 1 battle format. It is slightly easier than the Team Mode, because Team Mode needs teamwork.

Team Mode[]

The Team Mode is a game mode of Battle Royale that combines players into "teams". Your team will battle another team. Which team gets the most correct answers defeat the other team. If both teams are correct, it counts the time to answer the question. The group who uses the least time wins. It encourages teamwork & cooperation between players, hence the name. Due to this, it is slightly harder than the Solo Mode.

Trivia[]

Battle Royale is one of the only gamemodes that has a team mode. The others being Blook Rush, Snowball Fight, Laser Tag, Coco Cabana and Cocoa Cottage.
The colored Astronauts team names were likely a reference to Among Us which was a popular game and meme in 2020.
Baby Shark's team name used to be "BABY SHARK…" but it was changed to "BABY SHARK". This also happened to the colored Astronaut's team name, Narwhal's team name, UFO's team name and King of Hearts's team name.
- Each colored Astronaut team name used to be "[Color] kinda sus" but it was changed to "[Color] Crewmates".
- Narwhal's team name was "NARWHAL NARWHAL" but it was changed to "NARWHALLLLL".
- UFO's team name was "Umbrella Friend's Octopus" but it was changed to "Unidentified Students".
- King of Hearts's team name was ";)" but it was changed to "The Royals".
Battle Royale is the first gamemode to use AI in its gameplay, the second being Tower Defense, the third being Monster Brawl, the fourth being Tower Defense 2, and the fifth being Zorblitz.
- It uses AI when there’s an odd amount of players, so an AI player substitutes in and battles against a player.
At one point shortly after Contest of Candy 2023, all of the newly released Chromas would not appear with a name and instead with " ".
Battle Royale is Ben Stewart's favorite Gamemode as he feels it’s very fun and engaging.
Battle Royale is the only gamemode with an unknown date release.
Battle Royale, Coco Cabana, Laser Tag, Blook Rush, Snowball Fight and Cocoa Cottage are the only gamemodes with Team mode.
Sandwich's team name was "Super Sandwiches" when it was unreleased, and would be seen if a hacker or Blooket Developer used it. However, when the Lunch Pack released, Sandwich was in the pack and no longer unobtainable. The team name was instead given to Half a Sandwich while Sandwich was then given the team name "The Sandwiches".
When playing as a color Blook, most of them would have the team name, "[Color] Team".
Despite this, Light Blue's team name is "Blooket Buds" instead of "Light Blue Team" because it is the exact same color seen in Blooket’s logo.
Around October 1, 2025, the original team names have been replaced and are no longer determined by the respective Blook.
- Some of the original team names however have been repurposed into the new ones.

Team Names[]

Originally, Battle Royale featured team names based off of the Blook that was selected. These team names were the same in Blook Rush. They would show on the top of the screen. Currently, each team is given a name based on the icon of their team. There are currently 294 old Team Names known, 4 unknown, and 17 new Team Names known.
